Gymnastics-P.E

Gymnastics-4/9

In gymnastics today we did beam and floor. I didn't learn how to do anything on floor but I learnt how to jump over a cone on the beam without falling off. This was the first P.E period iv'e enjoyed in a long time.

Today in Gymnastics we did trampoline and bar. On trampoline we had to try to do seat drop, half turn, seat drop without bouncing in between. We did Horizontal bar an parallel bars, for horizontal bars we had to flip over, I couldn't do that but I tried. For parallel bars we had to get up and then swing for a bit. My goal for next period is to try the trampoline since I didn't go on it today.

For gymnastics today we did got split up into five groups. In my group we first did floor and I learnt that I can not do a headstand. Then we did beam, then horizontal bar. I didn't learn anything today.

My goal today is to go on the trampoline. I accomplished my goal by going on the trampoline but it was one of the scariest things iv'e ever done. Also I tried to do a headstand on floor but I couldn't.

    Great that you've enjoyed gymnastics. Enjoyment mean that you are more likely to reach that 'flow state' that athletes talk about. Can you identify one thing you'd like to focus on that might improve your skills next class?
